TrainingTraining is our main management tool for ensuring that a quality service is delivered to our clients. Firmly believing in organic growth, it is our intention to foster our talents from within, fully utilising and promoting the skills already available to us. Our training manager is responsible for highlighting individual and company training needs and for the development and execution of training strategies, working very closely with the service manager. Induction training is scheduled to take place within the first 14 days of employment and is vital in preparing the 'new' employee to become a functional part of the team. On completion of the induction-training programme, new employees generally work alongside a regular employee, under close observation, to ensure compliance with all safety rules and safe working practices and to benefit from that regular employee's hands-on experience. Oceanclean encourages all of its employees to achieve the recognised standards of NVQ 1 & 2 in Building Cleaning Interiors and BICS Operative Proficiency Certificate - levels 1 & 2. More formal off-site training is organised for management and supervisory staff, usually carried out at our head office in Fareham. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
