Health and safety

Oceanclean is committed to the health and safety of our employees and anybody affected by our work or presence on site. We are aware of our legal obligations and that failure to meet the requirements of the law could have serious consequences for us, whether an accident takes place or not. We know that it is our responsibility to take care of our staff and to ensure that they work safely - we take this moral responsibility.

To this end, we have a dedicated health & safety adviser, concerned with all matters relating to health and safety in the company.

Every employee is made aware of his/her individual health & safety responsibilities. Our service managers and senior managers are trained to Chartered Institute Of Environmental Health standards.

However, the principal focus for health & safety training remains with our workforce. This training forms a large part of cleaners' induction and ongoing training programmes.
